I painted this as an entry in the Oil Painters of America show. This is a bit different from my normal image in that I was after the “juice”! An artsy sort of dynamic in a painting where you capture the essence of the scene while at the same time you paint with bold and yummy paint. Thick, multicolored strokes are more interesting to look at than flat “photographic” like paintings… at least that is what they say.
